Roxane has had public and private sector experience including an Officer within the Royal Navy, a Director in the Civil Service and at Morrisons where held a range of roles from Head of Technology through to Digital and Innovation Director. Community, collaboration, doing what is right, with the right technology and with the user at the heart are common themes across all her work. She is a keen STEM Ambassador aspiring to inspire future generations and for inclusion, equity and opportunities available to all. She won the everywoman in Technology awards Woman of the Year in 2015, and was selected for the Northern Power Women Future List in 2018, and the TechWomen 100 in 2020. She was named Digital Leader of the Year in 2019. She is a GB Age Group Duathlete and competes at World Championship level and is studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) specifically focussed on how digital literacy can shape social mobility and sustainability. She also holds a Masters in Aeronautical Engineering, a Masters in Computer Modelling and Simulation and an MBA.
