Miquel Estapé is a civil servant, passionate about driving the digital government transformation and fostering public innovation for the common good within an open society. He brings over 25 years of professional experience delivering digital transformation and innovation projects with an extensive executive background in government and working in consulting firms for several industries. Currently, he is Vice-President of Government Digital Innovation at ACGP and Deputy CEO, Strategy and Innovation of the Open Government of Catalonia Consortium. He has been Major of la Roca del Vallès town hall and VP of the Vallès Oriental county hall. He has leaded digital transformation projects in Mazars and the Guinness group. He is a lecturer in several universities, and a regular speaker in local and international events about digital transformation, open government, innovation, the blockchain, citizen-centric, smart cities, data-driven, big data and digital identity in the public sector. He is a Telecommunications Engineer by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the University of London.
