Chris Johnson
Chief Medical Information Officer,
Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Johnson trained in clinical medicine at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, qualifying in 2000. He was appointed Consultant in Cystic Fibrosis and Lung Infection at Royal Papworth Hospital in 2012. Dr Johnson has developed the role of Chief Medical Information Officer at Royal Papworth Hospital, starting in 2014 and has led many successful programmes including the implementation of an Electronic Health Record and interoperability solutions. He holds a national role with NHS Digital relating to EHRs. His principal area of interest is the development of systems to enable the use of EHR derived data for medical research.
