The policy paper released 9th June 2022, Transforming for a digital future: 2022 to 2025 roadmap for digital and data provided a needed platform to allow collaboration across the sector to improve and reach the full potential digital transformation can deliver. Many services need improvement to deliver the right outcomes and technology needs to provide value for money, whilst keeping pace with the digital age. Cloud is seen to assist departments reach most of their goals, but it does come with challenges and its these challenges that need to be explored and addressed to ensure the right cloud strategy is put in place to meet the desired outcomes.
