James Hasketh
James Hasketh serves as Lead Hardware Engineer for Cloud Servers at Rackspace. In this role, James is responsible for resolution of day-to-day hardware issues and decisions for Rackspace production environments. In addition, James also has a hand in the strategic planning and design of hardware within Rackspace data centers specifically regarding software stacks related to Rackspace’s Cloud Servers offerings.
Prior to his current role, James served as a Lead Enterprise Technician, a Mentor to junior Rackers as well as an architect and testing engineer for several internal initiatives at Rackspace.
James joined Rackspace over 4 years ago, starting in the UK offices and made the jump across the pond in 2010 to continue his work on the Rackspace Cloud in the US. Prior to Rackspace, James worked at Symantec and Vertias on the data protection side. When not in the cloud, James enjoys fell walking, reading, chess and golf. Additionally, he is actively involved with the UK scouts in London as a group treasurer.
Mike Heumann:
Mike Heumann is a veteran of the high-technology industry with over 25 years’ experience. Prior to NextIO, Mr. Heumann was VP of Sales and Marketing at Astute Networks where he repositioned the company as a systems company and rebuilt the sales and marketing organizations. Before joining Astute, Mr. Heumann was at Dot Hill Systems, a provider of Raid Storage Arrays. He began at Dot Hill as Senior Director, Sales Engineering and held the roles of VP of Marketing and then VP of Sales. His extensive storage and I/O experience includes senior level marketing, sales and engineering roles at JNI Corporation and AMCC. Mike earned his BSEE from the University of Wisconsin, and his Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue University.
