Why Cloud Expo Europe?

This will be the first time that the data centre giant will be exhibiting at Cloud Expo and according to the company’s Marketing Director for Europe, Omer Wilson – who is responsible for overseeing the company’s go-to-market strategy and tactics across its European portfolio – the company is “very much looking forward to an exciting and successful event”.

“The ‘Cloud’ sector, including Managed Service Providers and actual end users is a key growth area for our business. As such we wanted to make sure that our organisation was associated with the leading ‘Cloud’ event in Europe – Cloud Expo Europe’s recognised status and established position really drove our decision to make sure we were a part of the 2013 event,” added Wilson.

Looking ahead

Moving forward the company is looking to further grow its leadership position within Europe, as Wilson explains: “Well, we are certainly continuing our growth and expansion plans in Europe. Following our successful purchase and integration of an additional three large data centres in London during 2012 (Digital Woking, Digital Chessington and Digital Croydon) – we are now actively looking at other core markets in Europe. We are already present with facilities in London, Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam and Geneva – but will be adding more sites and another key European business metropolitan centre during 2013!
