Today sees the start of this year’s Cloud Expo Europe, which is being held over the course of the day and all day tomorrow at the National Hall Olympia, London. The event is a popular seminar-led exhibition and conference for all those involved in the cloud and virtualisation sector.
The Expo, now in its fourth year, is free to attend and brings together cloud experts from all over the world. It’s an ideal opportunity for those in the IT industry to network with other technology enthusiasts.
Visitors to the Expo will have the opportunity to meet cloud suppliers from around the globe, whether they are in the planning stages of cloud adoption or running an advanced private cloud. Discussions on an array of topics will be taking place over the two days including big data, mobile, virtualisation and everything in between.
Top speakers include representatives from a range of international corporations, including the MET Office, The Co-operative Group, Cancer Research and many more. Additionally six of the top ten global cloud leaders will be sharing their expertise and offering practical content and proven expertise on all aspects of cloud computing.
Last year, Cloud Expo Europe won the prestigious Best Trade Show, Association of Event Organisers (AOE) Excellence Award and hosted five of Tech Target’s 2010 and 2011 top ten global leaders.
Those interested in attending can register on the above link and download an app suitable for any device designed to help with directions and accommodation, with a floor map and times for all of the speakers and seminars.
Talks this afternoon include a discussion on private versus public cloud, evolving cloud models and "Migrating to the Cloud: The Domino’s Experience – So far”.
