Cloud Expo Europe 2013 confirms exciting speaker & exhibitor lineup

In just two months Cloud Expo Europe 2013 opens its doors to over 6,000 expected visitors who will have the opportunity to interact and engage with industry professionals, and exhibitors from the Cloud computing industry.

With registration now open, visitors will have the opportunity to engage in a world-class conference programme over the two-day event completly free of charge. This will consist of nine streams and eight dedicated theatres, which specialise in a variety of topics including security & governance, virtualisation and Big Data to name a few. In addition there are two Service Provider dedicated theatres and The CIF Conference Theatre, which will offer a practical approach to Cloud services evaluation, assessment and contracting.  In addition, CTOs, analysts and over 50 case studies, will bring together the biggest gathering of thought leaders and practitioners from across Europe. 

Visitors to this free-to-attend event will have the opportunity to visit the eight  theatres with presentations from an array of industry professionals. These include Jean-Christophe Martin, Cloud architect at eBay, who identified Cloud Expo Europe as the ideal platform to showcase how the company is using Cloud computing to provide innovation and agility to ultimately benefit their users. In addition Simon Crosby, founder and CTO of Bromium, will present the challenges IT is faced with, in light of the explosive growth in Cloud services, coupled with the adoption of mobile devices and applications. 

Other world-class speakers include the IT director at Unilever, head of technology at the Met Office, head of architecture solutions and innovation from William Morrison’s Supermarkets, senior researcher from CSC’s Leading Edge Forum and founder & CEO at Nebula. 

Currently, the exhibitor list boasts organisations and industry bodies spanning a variety of sectors. The confirmed parties will have the opportunity to meet with attendees and offer ‘how to’ advice, into evolutionise your business securely, saving money and improve efficiency

• Brocade, found on stand 231 will be available to demonstrate how it is able to facilitate virtualisation and Cloud computing
• Rise will be able to meet with visitors and outline how they can migrate their existing infrastructure into the Cloud
