The Barbican is located in the heart of the city of London and is accessible by rail, underground and road.

By Car

Loading Bay - Hall 1:- Due to road restrictions in the area, Whitecross Street can only be accessed in a vehicle via Fortune Street. Please turn into Golden Lane, if you are coming from the south you will pass the exhibition halls on either side, take the first right into Fortune Street and then right again at the end of the road, this is Whitecross Street. Pass Waitrose on your left hand side, the loading bay gates can by found on your right hand side. If you enter Golden Lane from the north (from Old Street), Fortune Street is the last road on the left before the Zebra Crossing.

Car Parks - The Barbican is clearly sign-posted and has four car parks. Two are off Beech Street (westbound access only) and two are off Silk Street near the main entrance. Please allow plenty of time for your journey. All car parks have a height restriction of 6'1". If the Barbican car parks are full, alternative parking is available in Aldersgate Street.

By Underground

The nearest Underground station is Barbican, on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines. To reach the Barbican Exhibition Halls, exit the station and cross Aldersgate Street in front of you. Proceed through the road tunnel (Beech Street) before taking the second turning on the left into Golden Lane. The main entrances to Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 are in front of you.

By Train

The nearest rail stations are Liverpool Street, Farringdon and Blackfriars. City Thameslink services serve Barbican, Moorgate and Cannon Street.

By Public transport
